Consultancy service covers all major stages of construction, repair-refit as well as operation of the yacht. This includes overview the condition of existing yacht as well as project management or supervision, condition or pre-purchase surveys, flag state compliance surveys, technical appraisal or compliance reviews and follow-up
PRE-PURCHASE SURVEY
Pre-purchase survey is to technical examination of the yacht and her specifications-declared by the Seller or Broker so that Buyer gets a full picture of the status and is aware of the condition and possible defects in advance before the transaction. The process is basically to see and check all systems in working condition and examination of structure, machinery, safety, decks and complete fit-out as well as documentation.
Such a survey can also be carried out on behalf of the Seller to assist in evaluating the maintenance, repairs and/or upgrades that should be completed prior to yacht being placed in the market.
DETAILS
Supervise and inspect:
- Functional operational tests of all systems, equipment and machinery,
- Machinery and technical spaces,
- Paint, varnish and other finishes,
- Decks,
- Outfit,
- Interior and decoration,
- Structure; in & out,
- Safety gear,
- Running gear and manoeuvring systems; in & out,
- Maintenance records and manuals,
- Classification and flag certificates,
- Coordination of 3rd party experts (noise & vibration, manufacturer’s agent and other special meaurements)
Upon completion, a written report is issued complete with findings, performance evaluation, deficiencies and recommendations
SUPERINTENDENCY
Superintendence service is basically to assist the Owners, Managers and Crew by overviewing the condition of the vessel, recommend, plan and supervise shipyard-based or crew works, follow-up of the classification and flag administration obligations and all other operation-associated works on board.
